Our time with Francesca was amazing. Her passion and knowledge for making olive oil is outstanding. We learnt so much from her and now have a new appreciation for olive oil. It is so much more than a tour. It was an experience we had not yet had in Italy. We were welcomed like family. We would highly recommend it.

We booked an olive oil tasting with Francesca to learn about olive oil but we got so much more! She showed us around the ancient restored olive oil mill, explained how you make a high quality oil and taught us how you can taste different types of oil. She is very knowledgeable but also fun and enthusiastic. We tasted some of their wines and we had a wonderful home cooked lunch.
The family also has a beautiful b&b in Navelli. We loved it and highly recommend it if you are looking for an authentic Abruzzo experience.

It was fascinating and fun to learn about how they produce olive oil now and in the old days and get to practice how to define a good olive oil. It was very informative, pedagogic and joyful with good food!
Be aware it’s not a wine tasting per se where you taste many different whines. It’s a whole olive oil and food tasting experience where a glass of whine is included. It still exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to anybody!

The tasting and tour were a highlight of our stay in Abruzzo. Francesca is knowledgeable and personable, and has a great sense of humor. Her presentation was both informative. She provided warm stories of her family and their olive oil business. After the tasting, she served a home-cooked lunch with a glass of wine from her family’s winery. The town of Bucchianico itself is quite beautiful with panoramic views.

Great wines from a warm and welcoming family. The skills in winemaking are outstanding. They really bring out the best of grapes and terroir. Support family owned and non comprimised winemakers. They do the hard work every day.
